pan cosefo is the brandnew project by broken beat producer and singer elroy "spoonface" powell (london/uk). pan cosefo - the alter ego of an altered ego. pan cosefo is the survivor of a post apocalyptic experience reminiscing over days long gone and possibly may never return. the story begins...
spoonface has had international record success as "black legend" with his
recording of the barry white classic "you see the trouble with me" a
hit all over europe, reaching number one in the uk. he was also a part
of the music collective known as commonwealth whose song anthem was a
top ten hit in tim westwood's hip-hop chart on radio 1. spoonface has
also managed to share the screen with kaspa in several trouble tv
projects as well as providing his vocal services for tv ad campaigns,
such as the (howard) halifax and egg internet banking. 2004 spoonface
emerged as a dj "i?m not the greatest beat mixer but its all about the
selection" at herbal (uk), for hospitality with sisamo (les fleurs) and
chris goss. followed by ministry of sound, for "soul patrol", dub club
(vienna) and graz for the electronic arts festival 2005. in 2003
spoonface started an independent label venture ("wunnademwuns") with
roxy harris ("ear dis"), to specifically encourage the production and
release of "broken beat" dance music, along with his own label imprint "faada".
since then collaborations with seiji (bugs in the attic), omar, janet
kay, il-logic and raff, deekline & wizard, freaq nasty, high
contrast apollo 440 and craig david have continued to fuel his passion
to push boundaries of his music production and vocal offerings. direct
